It's good that Dr Millward continues to see us on a regular basis and knows his patient. The care away from the surgery needs improving. The mentally ill are not measure correctly when it comes to benefits etc. and not enough support available.

Started off on a bad understanding. However over time this has resolved, todays appointment went well, a very successful appointment. My requests have been understood. Improvement of carer or support helpers just notify consultant of patients mentality and provide thoughts and difficulties they are experiencing so they can make the appointment short.

Dr Millward was the only psychiatrist that didn't ask me to go over my history of illness and had taken the time to read my notes, that was a first for me and a huge relief in its self. He said we would start from our first meeting and see how we got on. I would be devastated if he were to leave Dantre. He listens to every word you say even though he may say little himself. I would be lost without him as part of my amazing support network.
